I don't think I've ever used a packet mix for anything, until recently I started using Dove's Farm Freee gluten free bread , pizza, pancake, dumplings mixes.
Mainly because it saves me buying a lot of different gluten free flour packets, that go off before I can use them all up.
The Freee mixes are basically small quantities of the individual flours, made up to a recipe in a packet. You need to add either oil, water, eggs or some kind of milk.
Makes nice gluten free bread etc, in my breadmaker or my oven or the Ninja Air fryer. My Excalibur dehydrator is very useful for proving dough, if it's not being baked in the Panasonic breadmaker or the Air fryer.
Sadly, shop bought gluten free bread based foods are very UPF, and the Freee range is better ( much less UPF) than most.
Milli Hill has written an excellent book about the effects of Ultra Processed Foods on Women in her book Ultra Processed Women
I certainly feel less unwell eating their products, than the Gluten free Supermarket products.
